Report: Raffles Hotel Galaxy Macau will not be open by Labour Day

Galaxy Entertainment Group’s new hotel tower, Raffles at Galaxy Macau, will not be open in time for the upcoming Labour Day holiday due to an industry-wide labour issue, according to Hong Kong’s Sing Tao newspaper. The hotel is part of the Galaxy Macau Phase 3 project, and the company has said it aims to open the new tower within the current quarter. The launch of another new hotel at the site, Andaz Macau, will depend on factors including the performance of Raffles and market demand. Galaxy Macau Phase 3 also features the Galaxy International Convention Center.
