COO predicts revenue growth for Newport World Resorts in 2023
Revenue at Newport World Resorts, a casino and leisure complex in Manila, is expected to continue growing in 2023, according to Hakan Dagtas, the property’s COO. Dagtas said revenue increases are expected in both gaming and non-gaming segments, and that Newport World Resorts is seeing an influx of foreign customers, particularly South Koreans. Dagtas said foreigners accounted for about 40% of mass-market gamblers at Newport World Resorts, with the ratio increasing to 60% in VIP gaming. The Philippines is “far from being a saturated” gaming market, he added.
