BHA Enhances Board with Addition of Two Independent NEDs
The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) has welcomed two new independent non-executive directors (NEDs) to its board. Kyrsten Halley and Tara Warren will join the regulator, with Halley replacing Joe Saumarez Smith as he takes on the role of chairman. Halley has over 10 years of experience in senior leadership positions and specialises in brand strategy, digital marketing and delivering transformational change. Warren, who is currently the executive director and board member of West Ham United FC, has experience in sports-related leadership positions and directs the club’s equality, diversity and inclusion initiatives. Both women are passionate about horseracing and are looking forward to contributing to the BHA’s objectives. The appointments followed an extensive recruitment campaign led by the Nominations Committee.
