ACMA Issues Reprimand to a Troubling CS:GO Skins Gambling Website

Feral Holdings, an online gambling company that allowed players to use CS:GO skins as wagers, has been warned by the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA). The company’s CS:GO Roll site offered Australian players a unique way to gamble, with players depositing skins from the popular game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive instead of money. However, the ACMA deemed the site to be illegal under the Interactive Gambling Act 2001, which prohibits casino-style online games played for real money or valuable items. The regulator also expressed concern that the site was designed to appeal to young people.
